Edit Item Scores

Edit the scores of individual questions in a student's assignment.

You can edit question scores for Homework assignments and Tests.

To give full credit for an item to all students, see Give Full Credit.

1. Click the Gradebook tab.
2. Select an assignment score.
3. Select an item from the list under Take Structure.
4. Click Add Override.
5. Enter a new value to change either the points earned or the percentage.
6. Optional: Enter a comment in the empty field to explain your score override to the student.
7. Click Apply.
