Can't Purchase Access (Wrong School)

When trying to purchase course materials, you are redirected to this help information.

This problem happens when both of the following conditions are met:

  • the school associated with your account is incorrect and is located in a region of the world other than your correct school
  • you access your course using a learning management system (LMS) such as Canvas™ or Blackboard®
Note This information applies to all Cengage course materials, not just Cengage Infuse.

Resolution

Correct the school associated with your account.

  1. Sign in to your Cengage account.
  2. In the sidebar, click Profile.
    Your account profile opens in a new window.
  3. Change your School.

    This might be labeled Institution or Company.

    Use care when selecting your school. Many schools have similar names.

  4. Save your changes.
    This might be labeled Save, Save Changes, or Update.
