The navigation bar has controls for the student to access the Profile menu and:

  • Return to the Class Selection page by selecting CHANGE CLASS
  • Navigate to the GRADEBOOK
  • LOGOUT of the system

Students can expand the navigation drawer to view the Course Menu and their Assignments.

Select the Course Menu tab to view the Learning Path, learning objects and assessments of the course.

In the Course Menu tab, the student can:

  • Use the level dropdowns to jump to a particular part of the course. The options in each level dropdown will include the titles of the levels, along with a default 'All' option. When the drawer is opened, the dropdowns will be populated as per the level of the currently displayed learning object or assessment by default. The list of levels and sections in the course menu will dynamically update based on the filter selections.

  • Reset the selection in the dropdown back to default by selecting the reset icon against the dropdown.

  • View the learning objects and assessments present within a level or section by selecting the caret icon on the respective card.

  • Launch a learning object or assessment by selecting their name. On selecting a name, the navigation drawer will automatically collapse and load it in the course preview. Assessments will only be displayed to students in the learning path once they are assigned along with a label against their names.

Select the Assignments tab to view a list of assignments grouped by status. Assignments are grouped into tabs for Now, Upcoming, Past Due and Done. An indication will be shown on tabs that have had assignments recently moved into them.

Now Tab:

Assignments that are currently active are listed in the Now tab. Students have the ability to:

  • View details for each assignment in a scrollable list.
  • View status for each assignment as Not Started, Started, Submitted or Completed.
  • Launch an assignment for the first time by selecting START on the assignment name.
  • Mark assignments that have already been started as complete by selecting MARK COMPLETE.
  • Resume assignments that have already been started by selecting RESUME. Assessments have to be completed once they have been launched and cannot be paused and resumed.
  • Launch the self-assessment form for a completed or submitted assignment by selecting SELF-ASSESS, which will only be available for assignments with self-assessment enabled.

Upcoming Tab:

Assignments with their start date in the future are listed in the Upcoming tab. Students have the ability to view details for each assignment in a scrollable list. Students will not be able to launch or interact with the upcoming assignments.

Past Due Tab:

Assignments with due dates in the past are listed in the Past Due tab. Students have the ability to:

  • View details for each assignment in a scrollable list.
  • View status for each assignment as Not Started, Started, Submitted, Completed or Expired (for assignments only). Assessments cannot be attempted once their due date has passed.
  • Launch an assignment for the first time by selecting START or the assignment name.
  • Mark assignments that have already been started as complete by selecting MARK COMPLETE.
  • Resume assignments that have already been started, by selecting RESUME.
  • Launch the self-assessment form for a completed or submitted assignment by selecting SELF-ASSESS, which will only be available for assignments with self-assessment enabled.

Done Tab:

Assignments that have been submitted or marked completed are listed in the Done tab. Assignments with self-assessment enabled are moved to the Done tab only when the self-assessment form has been completed by the student. Students have the ability to:

  • View details for each assignment in a scrollable list.
  • View overall teacher comments for each assignment, if added.
  • View overall score for assignments and standards assessments. There will be no score displayed for DAP assessments and Text and Media Learning Objects assignments.
  • View the score summary and targeted teacher comments by selecting View or the assignment name.
