Enable Student Assistant

The Student Assistant is not available for all MindTap courses, activity types or question types. On compatible questions, students can click Student Assistant to open the tool.

Once students have used the Student Assistant, you can view usage reports and students' chat logs in the Student Assistant Reports tab.

Enable at the Course Level

1. Click your name › Course Settings.

2. Click Student Assistant Settings.

3. Select Enable Student Assistant.

4. Click Save Settings.

Enable or Disable at the Activity Level

1. At the top of the activities list, turn on Edit .

2. Click Edit next to the activity.

3. Next to an activity, click › Manage activity settings.

   This is sometimes labeled Manage activity title and settings.

4. Under Student Assistant, select or deselect On.

5. Click Save.
