Courses using Standard MindTap have an eBook icon in the toolbar.
in the toolbar.Click + Add / Create › Activity.
Click Bongo.
Click Copy an Existing Assignment.
Select an assignment and click Continue.
Optional If needed, make any changes to the new version of your assignment.
Click Save.
In the Assign to Course window, set activity details.
- Activity Title
Label for the activity in the learning path.
- Description
Information or instructions displayed when the activity is opened.
- Require Password
Password protection for scoreable activities to prevent students from accessing them ahead of time.
- Academic Integrity
Not available for all courses and activities.
Set the activity to:
- No LockDown Browser: No restrictions on browser or desktop activity during this activity.
- LockDown Browser: Students cannot access other websites or applications during an assignment.
- LockDown Browser with Respondus Monitor: Students take their assignments on-camera and cannot access other websites or applications.
- Available Date
When students can start work on the activity.
- Due Date
When students must end work on the activity.
- Associated Topic
Textbook topic related to the activity.
- Order Within Topic
Position in the learning path under the specified topic.
Click Add.
At the top of the learning path, click + Activity › Activity.
Click Add More MindTap Content.
Click Bongo.
Click Copy an Existing Assignment.
Select an assignment and click Continue.
Optional If needed, make any changes to the new version of your assignment.
Click Save.
On the Assignment Details tab, enter your assignment information.
- Activity Title
Label for the activity in the learning path.
- Description
Information or instructions displayed when the activity is opened.
- Date Available
When students can start work on the activity.
- Date Due
When students must end work on the activity.
- Total Points Possible
How many points the activity is worth in the gradebook.
- Password
Optional: Require password protection for the activity.
- Academic Integrity
Not available for all courses and activities.
Set the activity to:
- No LockDown Browser: No restrictions on browser or desktop activity during this activity.
- LockDown Browser: Students cannot access other websites or applications during an assignment.
- LockDown Browser with Respondus Monitor: Students take their assignments on-camera and cannot access other websites or applications.
- Timer
Optional: Set a time limit for students to complete the activity.
On the Settings tab, enter scoring settings.
- Total Points Possible
How many points the activity is worth in the gradebook.
- Credit Type
Set the activity to
- Count towards Grade
- Practice (Doesn't Count towards Grade)
On the Student Accommodations tab, set any student accommodations for this activity.
Your enrolled students are listed on the left along with any current accommodations or extensions.
Accommodations available for the assignment are listed on the right, and can include:
- Date Available (if an available date is set)
- Date Due (if a due date is set)
- Time Limit (if the assignment is timed)
Select the students whose accommodations you want to change.
Extend the due date or make the assignment available early for the selected students.
When you are finished, click Save All.
Set the activity's location on the learning path in Folder and Placement.
Click Save.
