Create a Bongo Question and Answer Activity

1. In the toolbar, click to open Bongo.

2. Click › .

3. At the top of the learning path, click + Activity › Activity.

4. Click Add More MindTap Content.

5. Click Bongo.

6. Click Question & Answer.

7. Enter an assignment name and instructions on the General tab.

   1. Enter an assignment name in Untitled Assignment.

   2. Enter instructions in Instructions.

   3. Optional To record or upload video instructions, click .

   4. Optional Click More Options to change what users can view before and after submission.

8. Enter scoring information on the Evaluation tab.

   1. In Activity Score, enter the total points in the assignment.

   2. Turn Counts toward final grade on or off.

   3. Select how the activity will be evaluated.

      To view all scoring modes, click More options.

      Select a scoring mode for details and mode-specific settings.

      Scoring modes marked require AI Feedback be enabled.

      • Percentage

      • Smart Scoring

        
      • Rubric

      • Auto-Pass

        
      • Five-star
      • Pass/Fail

      • Delivery + Key Terms

        

      • Speech Delivery

9. Add questions on the Questions tab.

   Add your own questions:

   1. Enter a question in the text field.

   2. Click or press Ctrl+Enter to add the question to your assignment.

   Generate questions with Bongo AI:

   1. Click Generate Questions.

   2. Upload a document or copy and paste your course material.

   3. Click Generate.

   4. Select questions to add to the assignment.

      You can edit AI-generated questions and response criteria after adding them to the assignment.

      • Click Show more to view more questions.
      • If using Smart Scoring to evaluate responses, expand the question to view response criteria.

   5. Click Add Selected.

10. Optional Edit your questions as needed.

    • To edit a question, click it and enter your changes. If using Smart Scoring to evaluate responses, enter or edit response criteria in Response Criteria.To return to the question list, click Back to all questions.
    • To reorder questions, click next to a question and drag it to a new position.
    • To delete a question, click .
11. On the Answers tab, select recording modes and settings for student responses.

    To reduce cheating, you can give students different versions of the assignment.

    Randomize questions:

    1. Click More options.

    2. Turn on Random Question Mode to give questions in a random order.

    3. Enter the number of questions from the list each student will be given.

12. Optional On the AI Feedback tab, turn AI Feedback on or off.

    Bongo AI Feedback can analyze student videos and provide feedback on delivery, tone, and usage of key terms and phrases you select.

13. Optional On the Peer Review tab, require students to watch and provide feedback on other students' assignments.

14. Click Save.

Add your assignment to the MindTap learning path to make it available to students.
