Courses using Standard MindTap have an eBook icon in the toolbar.
Password protection is available only for gradeable activities. Passwords cannot be set for activities like flashcards, reading activities, and inline activities.
You can set a password when you add an activity to the activities list.
The following steps are for setting or editing a password for activities that are already in the activities list.
At the top of the activities list, turn on Edit
.
Select activities.
- To edit one activity, click
Edit next to the activity. - To edit multiple activities, select the activities and click Batch Actions › Edit Settings.
- To edit one activity, click
Under Require Password, enter a password.
The password must be between 6 and 16 characters and contain only letters and numbers.
To view your password, click Show.
Click Save.

Next to an activity, click

Manage activity settings.This is sometimes labeled Manage activity title and settings.
Enter a new password under Password.
The password must be between 6 and 16 characters and contain only letters and numbers.
To view your password, click Show.
Click Save.
Set password for multiple activities
At the top of the activities list, turn on Bulk Edit
.
Select activities.
Select the check box for individual activities or folders in the learning path.
Click Edit Activities ›
Edit password.
Enter a new password under Password.
The password must be between 6 and 16 characters and contain only letters and numbers.
To view your password, click Show.
Click Save.
