Require Respondus Monitor

With Respondus Monitor, students use their device's camera to record themselves taking an assignment. Respondus Monitor flags recordings that may contain suspicious activity.

Respondus Monitor also includes all the restrictions of LockDown Browser. Students cannot:

• Access other websites
• Use other applications
• Paste into assignments
• Print, screen-capture, or copy anything in assignments
• Minimize assignments

1. At the top of the activities list, turn on Edit .

2. Select activities.

   • To edit one activity, click Edit next to the activity.
   • To edit multiple activities, select the activities and click Batch Actions › Edit Settings.

3. Next to an activity, click › Manage activity settings.

   This is sometimes labeled Manage activity title and settings.

4. Set Academic Integrity to LockDown Browser with Respondus Monitor.

   If LockDown Browser with Respondus Monitor is not shown, your institution's Respondus license has not been added to MindTap. See Enable Respondus Monitor.

5. Click Save.

To adjust your Respondus Monitor assignment settings, launch your Respondus Monitor dashboard.
