Write Experience Activity Scored Incorrectly

A Write Experience activity was not scored or was scored in a way that doesn't make sense.

Cause

Pasting formatted text into Write Experience activities can sometimes cause scoring problems.

Don't paste text from an external editor like Word.

If you have already written your essay in an external editor, paste it as plain text to reduce the likelihood of scoring problems.

From your editor, save your work as plain text (without formatting).
Open your saved work in a plain text editor like Notepad.
Copy your work from the text editor.
In the Write Experience activity, click ; paste your text in the dialog box; then click OK.
