Use Read Aloud

Use Read Aloud to listen to eBook contents, including descriptive text for images. You can adjust the reading speed and voice.

Note Some Read Aloud features are not available for all products.

1. In the sidebar, click .
   The Read Aloud menu opens.
2. Optional: Adjust your Read Aloud settings.

   To do this:	Do this:
   Adjust volume	Use the Volume slider.
   Change reading speed	Click . Select a speed in Speed.
   Change the reading voice	Click . Select a narrator in Voice.

3. Use Read Aloud to listen to the eBook.
   • To play, click .
   • To pause, click .
   • To stop playing and close Read Aloud, click .
   • To jump back on the page, click .
   • To jump ahead on the page, click .
   • To minimize the Read Aloud menu to the sidebar, click −.
   • To read selected text, highlight text and click Read Aloud in the pop-up menu.
