NGLSync: View District Information

In the upper-left corner, click > My District.

You can also click My District on the K–12 Dashboard Home page.

Basic Details

See the Basic Details tab of your district dashboard for your district's name, location, roster methods, and a direct login URL.

Name: School district name.
Roster Method(s): How students are added to courses.
District Login URL: Address that lets students and teachers in your district sign in without selecting their school.
Status: Active districts are currently using NGLSync products.
Location: School district's physical location.
School District Login Code: The code appended to nglsync.cengage.com to create the direct district login URL.

Schools

See the Schools tab of your district dashboard for basic information about each school using NGLSync. Click a school to view and manage its admins, teachers, and students.

Name: School name.
City: School location.
SAWS ID: Unique identifier for schools and districts in NGLSync.
Teachers: Number of teachers with NGLSync accounts.
Students: Number of students with NGLSync accounts.
Status: Active schools are currently using NGLSync products.

Provisioning

See the Provisioning tab of your district dashboard for information about how schools add students to NGLSync class rosters.

Enabled Rostering Methods: How students can be enrolled in NGLSync classes and access Cengage products.
Click a method to view details.
SFTP Account Management: If your district has established an SFTP account for data transfer.

Entitlements

See the Entitlements tab of your district dashboard for information about Cengage products your district is using.

Entitlement Records

The Entitlement Records tab shows records of all products your district has used. From here, you can access records of classes and students that have used this product.

To show only current entitlements, select Hide inactive records.

To view more information about an entitlement, click .

Product Name: Textbook title.
Click the Product Name to view classes and students who used the product.
Platform: The online learning platform associated with the textbook.
Seats Used: The number of students who used this product.
Seats Available: The number of unused seats.
Status: Active products are available to be used.
Key: A unique identifier for the entitlement.
Name: The full product name, including learning platform, textbook title, and length of entitlement.
ISBN: Product serial number.
Seats: The number of students who can use the product at one time.
Activation: The date the product became available.
Expiration: The date the product became unavailable.
Opty ID: The quote number provided for the entitlement.
Status: Active products are available to be used.

Products Available

The Products Available tab shows the current products a school can use.

To view more information about an entitlement, click .

Standard Seats Available: Seats reserved for classroom use.

Contacts & Admins

See the Contacts & Admins tab of your district dashboard for district users with admin access.

Contact: District users that NGLSync can communicate with as needed.
District Administrators: Users with admin access.
To edit admin information or reset a password, click .

Settings

The Settings tab of your District dashboard states whether or not teachers must accept the Cengage terms and conditions.
