Drop Lowest Scores

You can set your gradebook to automatically drop each student's lowest scoring assignments from their course score.

  1. Click the Gradebook tab.

  2. If your Grade Preferences are hidden, click Show All Options.

  3. Specify the number of scores to be dropped.

    Drop the overall lowest scores

    1. Choose Ignoring grading categories from the dropdown menu under Drop Lowest Scores.
    2. Enter the number of assignments to be dropped from the course score.

    Drop the lowest scores in specific grading categories

    Be sure your Grades display setting is set to Percentage.

    1. Choose Respecting grading categories from the dropdown menu under Drop Lowest Scores.
    2. Enter the number of assignments to be dropped from each grading category.

  4. Click Apply Changes.
