Export a Course

You can export your OWLv2 courses and save them to your computer. Exported course files include all of the assignments and settings associated with your courses, so you can later import and reuse them.

Note This feature is not available for K–12 teachers who manage their courses through NGLSync.

1. On the Courses page, select the course you want to export.
2. Click Select course(s) or section(s) and then > Export.

   If you do not see the dropdown menu, click Show All Options.

Your course is exported as a .ecx file to your Downloads folder.

Note You cannot open the .ecx file on your computer. The file can only be opened in OWLv2.
