When a student forgets their NGLSync
password, change it for them. Students cannot reset their own passwords.
Due to privacy regulations, NGLSync does not
collect or store student contact information. This means NGLSync
cannot send students an email to reset their own passwords. Only teachers and admins
can change student passwords.

If needed, sign in to NGLSync at nglsync.cengage.com.

Find the student whose password you want to change.
If the student is enrolled in your course:

Under the course you want to manage, open the
Manage Course
menu and click
Manage Students.

Under Registered Students, click the student's
name.
If the student is not enrolled in your course:

In the upper-left corner, click .

Search for the student by name, username, or
student number.

Click the student's name in the search
results.
The Student page
opens.

Click Reset Password.

Enter a new password in Password and repeat it in
Confirm Password.

Click Save.
Inform the student of their new password.
