Forgot Password

If you forget your password, reset it from the sign-in page.

Note This feature is not available for K–12 students who sign in to their courses through NGLSync. Ask your teacher to change your password in NGLSync.
  1. On the sign-in page, click Need help signing in? > Forgot password.
  2. Type your email address and click Reset via email.

    If you have an alternate email address attached to your account, you can enter either email address to reset your password.

    Cengage sends you an email.

    If you do not remember your email address, contact Customer Support.

  3. Open the password reset email and click Reset Password.
  4. Type a password in both password fields, then click Set Password.
    Note
    Your password must contain:
    • at least 8 characters
    • a lowercase letter
    • an uppercase letter
    • a number
    • no parts of your username

Your password is updated and you are signed in.
