Project Incident Status

The Project Incident Status shows students who have triggered an incident flag on a project based on a relative 14-day period beginning at midnight.

Important Project incidents can happen even when students submit their own work. For example, if a student submits a project using a file from a previous course or a different assignment, an incident is logged because the identifiers in the submitted project don't match.

Project incidents result when your student's submission includes:

  • A file from a different assignment or student.
  • A file with some or all of the content copied from a different assignment or another student's file.
  • A non-SAM generated start file.
  • A non-SAM generated start file with some or all of the content copied from a different assignment or another student's file.

Click Project Incident to view the following information:

  • Student Name
  • Assignment Name
  • Incident Type
  • Other Students
Note Rejected assignment files will not trigger an incident flag.
The following icons display according to the status of incidents flagged:

The Incident icon appears if projects have been flagged for an incident.
no incident
The No Incident icon appears when there are no incidents flagged.
