Keyboarding Office Exams Assignment and Scheduling Options

Instructors can edit these options for Keyboarding Office® Exam assignments:

Scheduling Options: Dates/Times and Security

Option	Details if selected
Specify when the assignment is available	Select dates from the calendar when students can take the assignment. Options are as follows: Select the Select Available / Due dates option box. On the calendar, click the available date and navigate on the calendar to the due date. Click the due date to select the range. Select the Select Available Date only option box. On the calendar, click specific dates. Note Click Next or Prev on the calendar to display the calendar for the next month or the previous month. Default: Assignment is always available.
Specify password for student access	Set a password that students must enter in order to start work. Important Passwords are optional. If used, provide them to students. Default: No password

Specify when the assignment is available

Select dates from the calendar when students can take the assignment.

Options are as follows:

On the calendar, click the available date and navigate on the calendar to the due date. Click the due date to select the range.
Select the Select Available Date only option box.
On the calendar, click specific dates.

Note Click Next or Prev on the calendar to display the calendar for the next month or the previous month.

Default: Assignment is always available.

Specify password for student access

Set a password that students must enter in order to start work.

Important Passwords are optional. If used, provide them to students.

Pass/Fail	Enter the Pass/Fail threshold as a percentage of correct answers. Default: Off
Specify Time Limit	Enter the time limit students have to complete the assignment. Default: OFF
Allow Assignment to be retaken (number of attempts)	Enter the number of attempts (maximum 50). Default: ON (5 times) Note The retakes are represented by: SAM exam can be retaken # SAM exam retakes allowed # SAM exam retakes remaining #
Display Result at end of assignment	Students can see their results when they submit the assignment. Default: ON
Assignment Instructions	Enter the Assignment Instructions. Default: No Assignment Instructions

Specify incorrect actions per task	Enter the number of times a student can attempt to answer a question. (Select a value between 1 and 10.). Default: ON (3 incorrect actions) Note This option is represented by the number of attempts remaining shown in the content player.
Display feedback for each task/item	Select whether students receive feedback after each task/item. Default: ON
