Edit your training name, content, and settings.
Students can retake training assignments for self-study or to improve their score. Students are allowed an unlimited number of retakes until the due date. Only the student's best score is recorded in the gradebook.
If you generated a companion exam when you created your training, any changes you make to the training content are copied to the companion exam.
Edits do not affect students who have already started or submitted the previous version of the assignment.
- On the navigation bar, click SAM Assignments.

Click Training.
The Training page lists all existing training assignments.
To do this Do this View training assignments you created Click My Training. View public training assignments created by others Click Other Training. Sort the list Click a column heading. Preview a training Click beside the training name.
Find a specific training Type part of the training name in the search box. -
Click
next to your assignment.

You cannot edit the content version.
- Click Next Step.
- Optional: Edit your textbook selections.
- Click Next Step.
- Optional: Edit your chapter selections.
- Click Next Step.
- Optional:
Add or remove tasks used in your assignment.
Adding or removing any tasks from the training also adds or removes them from the companion exam.

Click Save.
To update your assignment, click Done.
Note If you have already scheduled your training, you do not need to schedule the edited version. The scheduled training is updated.If you schedule your training a second time, students will see both the original and updated trainings.
To assign the training:
- Click Schedule.

Training Assignment Options
- Assignment Name
- Unique name for your assignment.
- Start Training on Apply Mode
- Students initially attempt tasks without assistance. They can access step-by-step instructions and demonstrations as needed.

- Select Section

Sections for which the assignment is scheduled.
Your assignment can only be scheduled in sections using the same content version. A warning displays if you have already scheduled the assignment for any of the selected sections.
Dates/Times and Security
- Specify when training is available
- Set the date an assignment is available.
- Specify when training is due
- Set the date an assignment is due.
- Specify password for student access
- Prevent students from starting until they enter a password that you provide.
- Available after due date

Students can access training tasks after the due date for practice or review. Tasks completed after the due date do not affect gradebook scores.
Default: Not selected
- Click Schedule.
- When you see the message SAM has scheduled your exam, click OK.
