Enroll in your SAM Class Section

Find your section in SAM and join it. Depending on your instructor's settings, you might be added to a waitlist until your instructor approves you. You can also view the sections in which you are enrolled or waitlisted.

  1. On the Navigation bar, click Sections.

    The My Sections page displays sections you are enrolled in.

  2. Click Join a Section.

    A list of available sections displays.

  3. Find your section.
    • Search for your section with the Search box.
    • Filter available classes by instructor.
    • Click a column head to sort available classes.
    • Click a section name to view section details.
  4. Click Join.

    A confirmation message displays if you are enrolled or waitlisted.

  5. Click OK.

    You are now enrolled or waitlisted. The section is removed from the list of available sections and added to My Sections.
