Issues with SAM in Chrome 80

SAM is giving you unexpected error messages or otherwise not working properly while using Chrome™.

Cause

Changes made in the Chrome Version 80 update cause some SAM functions to stop working properly.

Chrome has changed how they handle cookies (small bits of data), which SAM relies on to complete certain actions.

Workaround

  1. To check which version of Chrome you are using, click menu > Help > About Google Chrome.
  2. If you are using Chrome Version 80, try a different browser.

    For macOS™ users, switch to Firefox®. You may experience similar issues if you use Safari®.

    For Windows® users, switch to Edge or Firefox.
