Disable Automatic Extensions for Individual Assignments

If you have automatics extensions enabled for your class, you can disable them for individual assignments. This is useful for quizzes or other assessments.

  1. Schedule the assignment, if you have not already done so.

  2. Open the Schedule page and navigate to the assignment.

    1. Open the My Classes page.

    2. Click Class Schedule under Class Tools.

    3. Click a scheduled assignment in the Assignments list to view the week for which it is scheduled.

  3. Beside the assignment, click Actions button › Edit Restrictions.

  4. On the Edit Restrictions page, deselect Automatic Extensions.

    This setting only displays if automatic extensions are enabled for your class.

  5. Click Save.
