Purchase Access

Purchase access to your course materials online.

Contact your instructor for help purchasing your access code.

  1. Open your Cengage dashboard at login.cengage.com.
  2. On your dashboard, click Purchase WebAssign or Open WebAssign next to your course, then click Buy Now.
    Note Your recommended option will be indicated with a blue Most Affordable Option heading.Your individual course material costs are compared to the cost of a Cengage Unlimited subscription. Your recommended option will be indicated with a blue Most Affordable Option heading.
  3. Purchase access to individual products or choose a subscription. Purchase access to individual products.
    Individual products
    1. If there are multi-term and single-term options listed for a product, use the drop-down next to the product title to select which option to purchase.
    2. Click Buy Products.
    Cengage Unlimited subscription
    The following are included in your Cengage Unlimited subscription:
    • Cengage course materials

      Access to MindTap, WebAssign, OpenNow, SAM, CNOWv2, and OWLv2 for all your classes.

    • Full library of Cengage eBooks

      The eBooks for your courses, plus thousands of others you can use as references, paper sources, or to supplement your studies.

    • Hard copy textbook rentals

      Limited free hard copy rentals for eligible courses (you pay shipping and handling).

    If you select an individual product, you can upgrade to Cengage Unlimited later.

    1. Select the length of your subscription.
    2. Click Buy Cengage Unlimited.
    You are sent to checkout.
  4. Review the items in your cart and click Check Out.
  5. Enter your billing address and click Continue.

    Depending on your address and what you are purchasing, some or all of your order might be subject to sales tax. Cengage Canada charges tax based on your provincial sales tax regulations and the type of product purchased.

  6. Select your payment method and enter your payment information.

    To use a credit or debit card:

    1. Select Credit Card/Debit Card.
    2. Enter your card information.
    3. Optional: If you have a coupon, enter it in Promo Code and click Apply.
    4. Click Purchase.

      The payment might take a few moments.

    5. When payment is complete, click Go To Dashboard.

    To use PayPal:

    1. Select the PayPal icon.
    2. Click Purchase.
    3. Complete your purchase on the PayPal site.
    Note If you need to contact Customer Support regarding this transaction, provide the order number from your receipt.
