Copy Your CNOWv2-Integrated Course in Blackboard

Copy a CNOWv2-integrated Blackboard® course to copy all content and course settings in both Blackboard and CNOWv2 at the same time.

This feature is not available to everyone and cannot be used to copy another instructor's course. Alternatively, see Copy a CNOWv2 Course to a New Blackboard Course.

If this feature is not enabled for your institution, you will be asked to complete additional steps after copying your Blackboard course.

Note To request this feature, ask your Cengage representative to enable enhanced course copy.
  1. In Blackboard, copy all course content to a new course using one of the following methods.
    • Copy an entire CNOWv2-integrated Blackboard course.
    • Create a new Blackboard course and copy content from a CNOWv2-integrated course into the new course.

If you are manually selecting which content to copy, be sure to include links to CNOWv2.

  2. Navigate to the copied content area in your new course.

The CNOWv2 links from your original course are shown, but your new course has not yet been created in CNOWv2.

  3. To create your CNOWv2 course, click a CNOWv2 link.

If a new CNOWv2 course opens in a new tab:

    Your CNOWv2 course was copied.

All dates in your new CNOWv2 course are inferred from the course start and end date.

    1. Review and adjust assignment dates and course settings as needed.
