Integrate Blackboard® with Cengage to let instructors and students access Cengage content and activities directly from Blackboard and return Cengage grades to the Blackboard gradebook.
Starting in 2024, institutions integrating with Blackboard for the first time will use a native Blackboard LTI 1.3 integration method.
Blackboard integration includes:
- Single sign on to Cengage
- Deep linking from Blackboard to Cengage activities
- Sync grades from Cengage to Blackboard
- Sync due dates from Cengage to Blackboard
- Copying a Blackboard course also copies the linked Cengage course
- Cengage Infuse integration of eBook and learning/assessment content directly in Blackboard
Institutions integrating with Blackboard for the first time will
use the latest integration method.
Important Any institutions using the
Building Block or Partner Cloud integration must migrate to the LTI 1.3 integration before Blackboard
discontinues support for Building Block and Partner Cloud integration after June
30, 2025.
