Edit CSFI activities

Customize activities and features in the CSFI, and assign pre-test and post-test activities to students.

CSFI activities are only available in Cengage College Success titles.

1. At the top of the activities list, turn on Edit .
2. Click Edit next to the CSFI activity. The CSFI activity is always right under the Getting Started activity.
3. In the Editing Activity window, set the activity title, description, dates, and location in the learning path to assign the activity to your course.

   Title

   Label for the activity in the learning path.

   Description

   Information or instructions displayed when the activity is opened.

   Require Password

   Password protection for scoreable activities to prevent students from accessing them ahead of time.

   Available Date

   When students can start work on the activity.

   Due Date

   When students must end work on the activity.

   Associated Topic

   Textbook topic related to the activity.

   Order Within Topic

   Position in the learning path under the specified topic.

4. Click Edit Activity Options at the bottom of the window for CSFI specfic modification options.

   Practice

   Enable Practice to exclude the activity score from grading.

   Possible Score

   Enter the max score a student can earn for completing the activity.

   Post-Test Configuration

   Exclude or include the post-test, and change the pre-test to post-test duration from the 14 day default.

5. Click Publish to save changes.
6. Click Save.
