Instructor Can't View Your Code

If you need your instructor need to review your Coding Labs code for practice or unsubmitted assignments, you can either add them as a contributor in GitHub or download your workspace as a .zip file and share it with them.

Resolution: Add Instructor as Contributor

To add your instructor as a contributor, you will need their username in GitHub.

Sign in to your GitHub account at www.github.com.
Under Top Repositories, click the repository for your project.
Click Settings.
Under Access, click Collaborators and teams.
Next to Manage access, click Add people.
Enter your instructor’s GitHub username in the search box.
Select their account from the search results.
Click Add Instructor to this Repository.
Your instructor will receive an email invitation to view your code at the address associated with their GitHub account.

Resolution: Download Workspace

In the codespace toolbar, click > Bundle Current Workspace.
The Explorer tab opens.
Under Student, right-click the .zip file and click Download.
Send your .zip file to your instructor.
