Create Assignments You can create and manage assignments in OWLv2. There are several types of assignments available. Create a Quick Prep AssignmentUse Quick Prep assignments to prepare your students for new material. Students take a quiz to assess what they already know and what they don't, then work through a customized study plan based on their results. Some Quick Prep assignments end with another quiz to show what the student learned. Create a Mastery AssignmentUse Mastery assignments to help your students understand new concepts. Mastery assignments consist of groups of questions related to a concept or skill, and are designed to encourage conceptual understanding. You can include up to 70 groups of questions in a single Mastery assignment, and the numbers and chemical systems in each question are randomized. Create an Activity, Problem, or EOC AssignmentUse Activity, Problem, or EOC (End-Of-Chapter) assignments to reinforce concepts and provide reviews for your students. You can add a variety of pre-made questions, as well as questions you've created. You can include up to 150 questions in a single assignment. Create a Reading AssignmentUse Reading assignments to assign specific sections of the eBook to your students. Reading assignments are available with assignable eBook resources, and they are not graded. Create an Adaptive Study PlanAdaptive Study Plans are helpful for review and mastery of the concepts and skills in your course. Students take a quiz to find out what they need to practice and review, and then work through a customized study plan. Create an External Web Link AssignmentUse External Web Link assignments to link to additional assignments outside of OWLv2.
