The Live Chat Tutor is available for select questions Sunday - Thursday 4:00pm to 12:00am EST.

Live tutors are available from Sunday - Thursday, 3pm-11pm, CT. Summer hours are available from Monday-Friday, 12pm-3pm, CT. Students can get help with odd-numbered exercises.
Is Live Tutor available for every homework problem?
No, when the teacher assigns homework problems, the problems with the orange star are the ones that include live tutor.
When and how can a student access the chat tutor?
If a student is in a supported assignment with the chat tutor option enabled by their teacher, they will have received a “Need help?” prompt if they incorrectly answer a question. When clicked on, this will open the remediation panel. If the student incorrectly answers a second time, the chat tutor option becomes available. Students can access the chat tutor one time for each question.
