Edit CNOW Assignment Content in MindTap

After you have created an assignment, you can edit the content included in it.

Note This topic is for instructors using the standard version of MindTap and does not apply to the latest MindTap version.

If these directions do not match what you see in your class, click MindTap version in the toolbar above and select your MindTap version.

You cannot edit the assignment content after students have begun taking the assignment.

  1. To expand the window, click expand.

    In the toolbar, click CNow Homework.
  2. Locate the assignment and click Edit.
  3. Click Edit Assignment Content > Continue.
  4. Edit the assignment content.

    Add a question to the assignment Select a question from Available Questions and click Include.
    Add questions from different chapters of your available content sources
    1. Click Add More Questions.
    2. Use the + buttons to view the available content, and select the chapters you want to use.
    3. Click Continue.
    Remove a question from the assignment Click the x button.
    Change the number of points that can be earned from a question Select a question from the Included Questions list, click Change Point Value, and enter a new point value.
  5. Click Done.

    Your changes are saved.
