Grade CNOW Assignments

CNOW assignments with open response questions require manual grading.

Note This topic is for instructors using the standard version of MindTap and does not apply to the latest MindTap version.

If these directions do not match what you see in your class, click MindTap version in the toolbar above and select your MindTap version.

CNOW assignments with no open response questions are automatically graded.

In the toolbar, click .
Locate your assignment on the Home tab and click Grade Now.
Select a student to view their submission.
If the student made multiple attempts, select an attempt from the panel on the right.

Note To collapse a panel, click .
Grade your students' attempts.
- To grade questions individually, enter a score for each question.
  To view a new question, select the question from the list.
- To assign full credit to individual students, select the checkbox next their names and click Assign Full Credit.
- To assign full credit to all students, select Select All Students and click Assign Full Credit.
Optional: Leave a comment.
- To comment on the activity, click Add a comment in the right panel. Type the comment and click Post Comment.
- To comment on an individual question, click Add Comment in the center panel. Type the comment and click OK.
Click Save Changes.
