Author a new multiple-choice question to use in your activity. Students choose one response from a list of options.
Question editing and authoring is not available for all activities.
This task is different depending on the version of MindTap used in your class.

in the toolbar above and select your MindTap version.

Open the activity editor.
To do this: Do this: Edit an activity on the learning path Click . Edit an activity from the Activity Bank - Click .
- Click an activity.
- Click Edit.
Create a new activity - Click .
- Click either Create Activity or Create Activity with Question Pools.
- Click + Create Question.
- Click Add New.
- Click .
- Enter your question text in Compose question.

Enter your multiple-choice options in Multiple choice
options.
- To remove an option, click
.
- To add an option, click + Add.
- To give an option a custom ARIA label, select Show advanced
accessibility options and enter a Custom ARIA
label.
Most options are already fully accessible to students using screenreaders and do not require a custom ARIA label. Custom ARIA labels are only recommended for complex tables and math formatting.
- To remove an option, click
- In Set correct answer(s), click the response that will be marked correct.
- Optional: Select Shuffle options to show students the options in a random order.
- Optional:
To add feedback, click More options
.
- Enter feedback for the entire question in Overall feedback.
- To give feedback for students who select a certain option, click
+ Add under Answer Feedback.
Enter feedback for the first multiple-choice option in Answer
Feedback 1.
Repeat as needed for other options.
- Enter an example of a correct response in Sample answer.
- Optional: Click Preview to preview your question.
- Click Save to add your question to your activity.
