Edit MindTap Activities

You can write new questions and feedback, and edit or delete existing questions and feedback.

Important Question editing and authoring is not available for all courses.

Editing is not available for all activities.

Note Make all changes before students access the assignment. If a student attempts the assignment before you finish editing it, they will take the previous version of the assignment.
Before you begin

This task is different depending on the version of MindTap used in your class.

If these directions do not match what you see in your class, click MindTap version in the toolbar above and select your MindTap version.

  1. At the top of the activities list, turn on Edit​ .
  2. Click  Edit next to an activity.
  3. At the bottom of the activity settings editor, click Edit Activity Options.

The assignment editor opens.

The assignment editor shows the assignment in one panel and the questions in a second panel. A question is expanded to show the entire question, with the option to edit the title, question wording, answer wording, and feedback.

  1. Open the activity editor.
    To do this: Do this:
    Edit an activity on the learning path Click Activity context menu > Edit activity title and content.
    Edit an activity from the Activity Bank
    1. Click + Activity > Activity >  Add from Activity Bank.
    2. Click an activity.
    Create a new activity
    1. Click + Activity > Activity > Create New.
    2. Click either Create Activity or Create Activity with Question Pools.
  2. If you did not create the original activity, click Copy to Edit to create your own version of the activity.
    Your version replaces the original activity on the learning path.
