By default, answers to manually graded questions will automatically receive full credit. Optional Show My Work questions do not automatically receive credit because they are not included in the assignment total.
If you grade an answer before the due date and your student submits another answer, the student receives either full credit or no credit and your previous score and comments might be lost.
Open the My Classes page.
Click Classes › My Classes and find the section you want.
Click scores beside the assignment.
The Scores page displays scores for the selected assignment for all students currently enrolled in the section.
Click Grade Answers.
- To grade all answers, set Questions to Grade All.
- To grade one question at a time, select the ID of the question that you want to grade.

Click Start Grading.
A student's answers are displayed in the Grade Answers page, along with the answer keys.
Only answers to questions that can be graded are displayed.
Enter scores for each question.
Only the student's latest answer is displayed. To view your student's previous answers, click View Responses.
When you are done grading the answers on the current page, click Save & Grade Next.
