Integrate MindTap for K–12 With Your Schoology Course

Your Schoology administrator must have set up the Cengage tool in Schoology.

With this integration:

  • You and your students access your MindTap for K–12 courses from Schoology.

  1. Create your course in Schoology.

  2. Choose one of the following:

  3. In your MindTap for K–12 course, assign the activities you want to use.

  4. Add Links in Schoology to MindTap for K–12 Activities and Resources

Multisection Courses

Schoology sections must be created and linked before you begin integrating MindTap for K–12 courses. Schoology permits section linking when enabled by your school or district administrator.

Each Schoology section will be linked to a MindTap for K–12 course.

  1. Create your multisection Schoology course.

  2. Link your first Schoology section to a new MindTap for K–12 course.

    1. Create a New Schoology-Integrated MindTap for K–12 Course

    2. Add Links in Schoology to MindTap for K–12 Activities and Resources

  3. Set up your MindTap for K–12 course.

    Finish setting up your course before copying it over to the rest of your Schoology sections, so you only have to make these changes once.

  4. In your Schoology section, click the Cengage link you just created.

    Cengage opens in a new tab.

  5. In Schoology, open the next section and click the Cengage link.

  6. Link the Schoology section to a copy of your MindTap for K–12 course.

    2. Add Links in Schoology to MindTap for K–12 Activities and Resources

  7. Repeat this process for each section in your Schoology course.
