Highlight Text

Mark important content to review later. Your highlighted text is saved in the Study Hub.

  1. Open an assignment or a page in your course materials.
  2. Optional: By default, you can highlight with your mouse. To enable keyboard highlighting, press Ctrl+Shift+L or Cmd+Shift+L.
    To view keyboard shortcuts for highlighting, click Keyboard highlighting instructions in the upper-right of your course materials.
  3. Select your text.
    The highlight menu opens.
  4. Select a highlight color.
  5. Optional: To change colors, click the highlighted text and select a new color.
  6. Optional: To remove the highlight, click the highlighted text and click Delete.

Review Highlights

Review your highlighted text in the Study Hub. Each highlight links to the course material where you added it.

  1. In the upper-left corner, click Menu > Study Hub.
  2. Click Notes And Highlights.
  3. Optional: To filter by highlights, click Show all  > Show highlights only.
  4. Optional: To remove unwanted highlights, click Delete.
  5. To open the highlighted course material, click Go to.
