Diet and Wellness Plus

Diet & Wellness Plus is diet analysis software featuring over 100,000 foods and powered by ESHA/Trustwell research in 2025. The food and nutrient database includes global, brand-name, and custom foods, along with recipe features. You can track diet, activity, and healthy behaviors. Reports help students to understand how nutrition and lifestyle choices relate to personal health goals. Assignments and updated grading features guide students to apply their knowledge and assist instructors in their evaluation of student progress.

Diet & Wellness Plus can be used as a standalone product or in the MindTap learning platform. This help is for Standalone Diet & Wellness Plus.

Important: Database migration

On May 17, 2025, the legacy database for Diet & Wellness Plus will be replaced with an improved ESHA/Trustwell database.

Because Diet & Wellness Plus reporting is based on the underlying database, reports based on the old database will be removed when the database is migrated.

Report data to be removed includes:

User reports
In-progress assignments
Completed assignments
Activities
Food entries
Recipes and custom foods
Favorites
Custom nutrients lists

Grades will not be affected by this migration, but the data that was used to calculate grades will be removed. To save a copy of your gradebook with legacy database information, export your grades.
