Edit Notes and Highlights

Edit and delete notes and highlights from your eBook page or the Notebook.

Note Depending on your product, your notes and highlights may be located in Annotations at the top of the page.

Edit a Note

Edit an existing note from the eBook or Notebook.

From the eBook:

  1. Click the highlighted text.
  2. Change the highlight color or edit your note text.
  3. Click Save.

From the Notebook:

  1. Click Annotations actions menu > Edit note.
  2. Change the highlight color or edit your note text.
  3. Click Save.

Add a Note to Highlighted Text

Add a note to text you previously highlighted.

From the eBook:

  1. Click the highlighted text.
  2. In the pop-up menu, click Add note.
  3. Enter your note in Text.
  4. Click Save.
    A note marker Note starts with color in your highlight color is shown above your highlighted text.

From the Notebook:

  1. Click Annotations actions menu > Add note.
  2. Enter your note in Text.
  3. Click Save.
    Your note is added under the highlighted text in your Notebook.

Delete a Note

Delete unwanted notes.

From the eBook:

  1. Click the highlighted text.
  2. Click Delete.

From the Notebook:

  1. Click Annotations actions menu > Delete.

Delete a Highlight

Delete unwanted notes.

From the eBook:

  1. Click the highlighted text.
  2. Hover over Highlight.
    The Checkmark over your selected color changes to Delete highlight.
  3. Click Highlight.
    The highlight is removed.

From the Notebook:

  1. Click Annotations actions menu > Delete.
