Copy a Keyboarding in SAM-integrated Blackboard® course to copy all content and course settings in both Blackboard and Keyboarding in SAM at the same time.
If this feature is not enabled for your institution, you will be asked to complete
additional steps after copying your Blackboard course.
Note To request this feature, ask your Cengage representative to enable
enhanced course copy.

In Blackboard, copy all course content to a new course using one of the following methods.
- Copy an entire Keyboarding in SAM-integrated Blackboard course.
- Create a new Blackboard course and copy content from a Keyboarding in SAM-integrated course into the new course.
If you are manually selecting which content to copy, be sure to include links to Keyboarding in SAM.

Navigate to the copied content area in your new course.
The Keyboarding in SAM links from your original course are
shown, but your new course has not yet been created in Keyboarding in SAM.

To create your Keyboarding in SAM course,
click a Keyboarding in SAM link.
If a new Keyboarding in SAM course opens in a new tab:
Your Keyboarding in SAM course was copied.
All dates in your new Keyboarding in SAM course are inferred from
the course start and end date.

Review and adjust assignment dates and course settings as needed.

Disregard steps 4–8.
If a new Keyboarding in SAM course does not open:
Your Keyboarding in SAM course was not copied.

Complete steps 4–8.

On the License Type page, select the payment method applicable to your class.
Very often, only one license type is available.

Click Continue.

Copy your Keyboarding in SAM course.

Select Copy an existing course.
Your courses for the selected title are listed.

Select the course you want to copy.

Click Continue.

On the Course Details page, specify the course name, dates, and other
information for your Keyboarding in SAM course.

Set the start date to the first day of class. It is the first day students can
access your course and the beginning of your students' temporary
access period. It cannot be changed after students access the

students to view their grades and complete late work, consider
setting this 1 week after the last day of class.

Click Finish.

Click Continue.

Click the link to your Keyboarding in SAM course and verify
that it's set up how you want.
If prompted, read and accept the service agreement.
