Add a Link to Student Dashboard

After linking your Brightspace® and SAM courses, add a link to the student dashboard in the same way you add links to SAM activities. Students can use this link to access their purchases from the dashboard.

  1. Open your Brightspace course.
  2. Click the Content tab.
  3. In your module, click Add Existing Activities > Cengage.

    The Cengage tool may be named differently for your school. Ask your LMS Admin if you are unsure.

    If you do not see the Cengage tool, try this instead.

    1. Click Related Tools > Course Builder.
    2. Drag New Cengage Learning from Add Content to your module.
  4. At the bottom of the list of activities, select the Cengage Student Dashboard link.
  5. Click Continue.

The content page displays all the links you have added to your SAM course and activities.

If needed, you can reorganize the links in Brightspace.
