Refund Print Rentals

Print rentals fulfilled by Cengage that are returned and received within 21 days of purchase will be refunded.

The best practice for print rental returns is to submit to the post office at least 7 days before the return's due date.

  1. Sign in at login.cengage.com.

    Enter your username and password. Then, click Sign In.

  2. In the sidebar, click Rentals.

  3. Next to the print textbook you want to return, click Manage Rental › Return.

    This option is unavailable for rentals after 21 days.

  4. Select a reason for cancellation.

  5. Click Cancel My Rental › Continue.

  6. Review your shipping address and click Confirm.

  7. Click Download Image to download the prepaid UPS label to your computer.

    You must print and include this label on top of your package in order to receive a refund on your rental.

  8. Place your rental book in a package and attach the UPS label visibly to the box.

  9. Bring your package to a UPS drop-off location.
