Enable / Disable Badges

By default, badges are enabled for all assignments labeled Badge available. You can edit this setting on the assignment options page.

Badges are available for capstone projects and MOS practice exams for Office 365®/2021 and newer content versions. Students must earn 90% or above to be awarded a shareable badge.

  1. Schedule or edit a capstone project or MOS practice exam for Office 365/2021 or newer content versions.

    To schedule a capstone project:

    1. Click +Add/Create Activity > Activity > SAM Assignment.
    2. Filter the list of assignments by content version and assignment type to find an assignment labeled Badge available.
    3. Select an assignment and click Next Step.

    To edit a capstone project or MOS practice exam:

    1. At the top of the activities list, turn on Edit.
    2. Click Edit next to an eligible assignment.
    3. Click Edit Activity Options.
  2. On the assignment options page, edit the Issue badge at 90% setting.
  3. Click Save.
