Read the eBook Aloud in Cengage Read

You can make the eBook read text and alternative text out loud to support audio learning. This also makes content accessible if you are visually impaired. You can listen to the eBook in your preferred language or speed.

You must be on an open eBook page to select accessibility options.

At the bottom of the page, tap unlabeled-button . The eBook will read out loud. Pause or end reading aloud. Tap X to end. Tap unlabeled-button to pause. Tap unlabeled-button › unlabeled-button to customize your experience. Change reading speed Tap speed-up-reading-button to increase speech speed. Tap speed-down-reading-button to reduce it. Read alternative text Toggle on to turn on. Change language audio Tap Language detection and select a language.
