Import Cognero Question Sets to Canvas

Use question sets from Cognero to build quizzes or tests in Canvas.

  1. In Cognero, open any question set or test.

  2. Download the Cognero question set to your computer.

    Click File › Export › QTI for Canvas.

  3. In Canvas, open a course.

  4. Click Settings › Import Existing Content.

  5. Set Content Type to QTI.zip file.

  6. Click Choose File.

  7. Find and select your exported QTI file.

  8. Set Default Question bank to Create new question bank and enter a name in Question bank name.

  9. Click Import.

Now you can add Cognero questions to a Canvas quiz.

When creating a Canvas quiz, click the Questions tab. Click Find Questions and select the Cognero question set. Select questions and click Add Questions.
