When submitting a project file, a Project incident rejection error displays and you are not able to submit your project.
Project incidents result when your student's submission includes:
- A file from a different assignment or student.
- A file with some or all of the content copied from a different assignment or another student's file.
- A non-SAM generated start file.
- A non-SAM generated start file with some or all of the content copied from a different assignment or another student's file.
- A file that has been opened from OneDrive, Google Drive, or other cloud-based storage.
- A file that has been opened or edited with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or a cloud-based version of Office®.
Important Project
incidents can happen even when students submit their own work. For example, if a
student submits a project using a file from a previous course or a different
assignment, an incident is logged because the identifiers in the submitted
project don't match.
Resolution
Download the start file again and complete your project based on the
correct start file.
