Create an NGLSync Account and Enroll in a Cengage Course
If you do not have an NGLSync account, use the course registration link to create your account and enroll in your Cengage course.
Remove Students
If you used student self-enrollment or manually added students to your NGLSync roster, you can remove students from your NGLSync roster.
Student ID Number Already Used
When you try to create a student account, you are told the student's number is already in use. If the student tries to create their own account, they are told they already have an account.
Manage Students
Change your students' passwords and edit profile information such as names, usernames, and student identification numbers. Students cannot edit their own profile information.

Change a student's username, ID number, and name.
Change Student Password
Due to privacy regulations, NGLSync does not collect or store student contact information. This means NGLSync cannot send students an email to reset their own passwords. If needed, sign in to NGLSync at nglsync.cengage.com . Under the course you want to manage, open the Manage Course menu and click Manage Students . Your Course page opens. Share Your Course With Students

Cengage Bulk Rostering
If your school district uses Cengage bulk rostering services or a Single Sign-On (SSO) system, your district technology coordinator works with Cengage to enroll students in your course. To add or remove a student from your NGLSync course, contact your district technology coordinator.
Google Classroom Access Blocked
When students try to launch your course from Google Classroom, they see the error message Access blocked: Your institution's admin needs to review NGLSync.

Requiring registration approval deters cheating from students with duplicate accounts. Student Groups
Create student groups to quickly apply different settings to certain students when assigning work. Groups can be used to give students different start and due dates, additional attempts on questions, and additional assignments. Transfer a Student Between Sections in a Course
Transfer a student from one section to another in the same course. If an assignment is present in both sections, any work that the student has completed on the assignment in the original section automatically transfers to that assignment in the new section.
