Add Recipes in Diet & Wellness Plus

Save recipes that you make often so you don't have to add each individual ingredient to your diet tracker. The recipe will be saved as a new food item that you can find in the search results on the Track Diet page.

Diet & Wellness Plus is not included in all MindTap courses. If Diet & Wellness Plus is included in your course, you can find the Diet & Wellness Plus icon Diet & Wellness Plus in the toolbar.

  1. In the toolbar, click Diet & Wellness Plus to open Diet & Wellness Plus.
  2. Click Track Diet.
  3. Click Recipes > Create New Recipe.
  4. Enter a name and the total number of servings your recipe produces.
  5. Add each ingredient to your recipe.
    1. Click Add Ingredient.
    2. Search for an ingredient and click the most accurate search result.
    3. Enter the amount that you use in the recipe. Click dropdown to change the metric.
    4. Click Save Ingredient.
  6. Click Save Recipe.

Your recipe is automatically added to your Favorites list, and you can find it when you search for a food item on the Track Diet page.
