Copy Your OWLv2-Integrated Course in Blackboard

Copy a OWLv2-integrated Blackboard® course to copy all content and course settings in both Blackboard and OWLv2 at the same time.

This feature is not available to everyone and cannot be used to copy another instructor's course. Alternatively, see Copy a OWLv2 Course to a New Blackboard Course.

If this feature is not enabled for your institution, you will be asked to complete additional steps after copying your Blackboard course.

Note To request this feature, ask your Cengage representative to enable enhanced course copy.

1. In Blackboard, copy all course content to a new course using one of the following methods.
   • Copy an entire OWLv2-integrated Blackboard course.
   • Create a new Blackboard course and copy content from a OWLv2-integrated course into the new course.

   If you are manually selecting which content to copy, be sure to include links to OWLv2.

2. After the task is complete, navigate to the copied content area in your new course.

   Your OWLv2 links should all be listed, but they don't yet point to a OWLv2 course.

3. Click one of the OWLv2 links.

   Your copied OWLv2 course opens in a new tab.

   All dates in your new OWLv2 course are inferred from the course start and end date.

Note If your course does not open, this feature is not enabled and you must complete these additional steps.

4. Copy your OWLv2 course.
   1. Select Copy one of my existing OWLv2 courses (including its assignments) if it is not already selected.
   2. Select the correct OWLv2 course if it is not already selected.
   3. Enter the necessary information.

Review and adjust assignment dates and course settings as needed.
