Classes

You can view, enroll in, and unenroll from class sections. You are either enrolled automatically or wait listed depending on how the instructor set up the course.

Purchase Access
Purchase access to your course materials online. Contact your instructor for help purchasing your access code.
Open Your SAM Course
Open your SAM course from your LMS (like Canvas™ or Blackboard®) or from your Cengage dashboard. After opening your course, open your other courses in the Cengage sidebar.
Enroll in your SAM Class Section
Find your section in SAM and join it. Depending on your instructor's settings, you might be added to a waitlist until your instructor approves you. You can also view the sections in which you are enrolled or waitlisted.
Transfer Sections or Drop a Course
You can drop yourself from a section if you have not started any assignments. Otherwise, your instructor must drop you from the course roster. Afterwards, you can add yourself to a new section if needed. If you purchased access within the past 14 days, you can request a refund.
