If you are using Sakai® 19.x or 20.x, register the Cengage tool or update your existing tool to LTI advantage.
- Sign in to Sakai as an administrator.
- Navigate to Administration Workspace.
- Click External Tools from the Tool Menu.

Open the Installed Tools tab.
- If there is an existing LTI 1.1 Cengage tool, click Edit.
- Otherwise, click Install LTI 1.x Tool.

Use the configuration information provided in the email from Cengage to enter or confirm the following settings:

- Click Save.
- In the email from Cengage, click Complete Registration and follow the prompts to provide the External Tool Values for the Cengage tool.
