Instructors are signed out of Moodle™ when they try to add Cengage activity links while using Google® Chrome™.
Changes made in recent Chrome updates cause the Cengage content selector to stop working correctly.
Chrome has changed how they handle cookies (small bits of data), which Cengage relies on to complete certain actions.
Resolution
This issue has been resolved in Moodle versions
3.9.9, 3.10.6, and 3.11.1.
- Update Moodle to a version in which this issue is resolved.
- If you cannot update, advise your instructors to use a browser other than Chrome.
